Keyless entry

What do you guys think of keyless entry? rice or not? and if i went this rout, i would remove the door handles and ahve a body shop weld a plate there and fix it all up good so it looked like they were never there

rice or not?

also.. would i be screwd if my batt died?

? im not thinking so.. the handls things arent more than what.. 2x6 just removeing handel and having metal weldin in place.. maby 2 pounds?

keyless entry is what, a small receiver box and solonoids? maby 5 poulds, cant be to much

if you want to, I made some pictures of a T2 photoshopped w/ no rub strips, no handles, and no handles or rubstrips.
I still like stock S5 best.

Hmm I though you had to add weight to the doors so that they would open by themselves.

bout the wight on doors.. couldnt i just put a real fat stoper in there.. make them harder to close.. but when the latch releases.. the would pop open

and id like to see the pics

The motors to pop a door weigh considerably more than that aluminum door handle.

keyless entry is always good, but door pop is always lame unless you own a Olds.

i try to keep my 7 on a diet, but this cant weight more than 5 pounds all together, plus i can remove some of the old door mechanism.. and the lock

Man, that would really blow if your battery went dead and you removed all the lock mechanisms.
