Just Some Pics Of The Engine Before I Dunp It

Well I am about to toss a perfectly good rotary and tranny into the garbage can before I install my LS1. Thought now would be a good time to show it and see some opinions as to whether it is good for another project and I should just keep it around.......

no one is going to buy it for that outrageous price you listed it at. If you are really going to do the swap, dump it and let me know where you live so I can save it from the trash

.............

I have put up multiple engines here on this site. So far I have sold one for 400 dollars. I had a bunch of other ones on here for free, on condition you pull it. A lot of the motors were high mileage ones, some werent. This one right here I have mentioned it for 400 and it comes with a tranny.......I might keep it around just in case I need something for the swap. Just asking if I should keep it or toss it not whether I have a justifiable price becuz ITS NOT FOR SALE

Keep it. Plug up the intake and exhuast with rags and put it in the corner somewhere. Some time down the road youll **** yourself after you realize that you tossed a perfectly good motor.

Judging by the coolant filler neck and upper intake manifold, as well as the AFM, it looks like an S4 engine.

Series 4 Series 5, different year of car production. Performance differences as well as mechanical.

Check the faq, do a search, look at the car brochures from year to year.

Well I sold one on here, and then failed to give away two...........

This is the fourth RX7 that I have bought for simple parts for my RX7 LS1 swap. What would be a good going price? I sold the last one for 400. The other 2 ran crappy. This one right here runs perfect. If I didnt want to do a LS1 swap I would definitely keep it!!!!! But whats its potential worth?
