got fuel rails?

 

 

This got me excited - are they going to stay silver/polished?

 

i think everyone likes polished fuel rails mirror finish anyone?

 

If i can see myself in it, it's a goodlookin' fuel rail.

 

what if you can see the future when you look into it thats the quality im looking for

 

Been doing the same thing with watercooling for my computer for years. I use 1/2in barb fittings and 7/16 diameter tubing. Heat up the tubing with a hair dryer. If you have a hard time getting them on you can spread the ends with some narrow plyers while they are hot.

Man it was a perfect day to pull my engine. Had the whole day off from both jobs, wasn't too hot or humid to be outside. BUT you convinced me to wait and do the teardown on an engine stand. Everyone I know I can borrow a stand from is using their's, but I found Harbor Freight selling 700lb ones for $40. Wish Brown would do something for me and put my adapter on my doorstep

Oh yeah..and I was looking at my P/S mount on the bracket...I don't see how it could be modified. Maybe somehow mount it fixed and use the P/S idler to adjust tension?

^ haven't gone to get it yet. Buying large items is always complicated when your DD is a 2 seat vert. Gotta drive 20 min. each way to the folk's house, borrow their minivan. Plus I keep hoping a friend will take an engine off one of their stands. $40 saved is more that could go to this nifty MOP mod

well i gotta make some fuel rails and surge tank setup for you get your *** to az and ill do your vmount

btw i got my radiator 90% welded up, i need to drill the -16 AN fitting holes, then weld up 1 more bead to seal the radiator and my vmount radiator is done

I'd prefer the 1000lb one. 4 supports on the ground is more stable for sure. But I also have to be able to take it apart and store it in a crawl space when I'm done. Crawl space door is probably 3'x3' I'll see what works best when I get to the store.
