how would you go about changing a hard top to a soft top(convertable) or is it not possible b/c they are so structurally different?

You probably couldn't do it with out spending a shitload of money on it. They are very different. If you really want it that open there is a way to do a Targa top on it. I dont know whats involved with that though.

Yeah that would present a real challange. You would have to cut down the entire top half of the car not to mention you would have to build the front coupling agent. Or some how fuse it from a convertable rx-7. it would be way more cost and time effiencent to just trade in your rx-7 for a convertable one. To make it work you would have to have a monster garage team working on it lol.
