my oil pressure guage is maxing out my guage cant even read it its so high.what gives how can i fix this what might be the problem is this bad???


and also my temp guage isint working where is the sendor for it located??

 

Check all your grounds... is the oIl pressure maxxing out then the car shutting itself off?

 

well im not sure i can hold it at around 2k rpms but if i let off the gas it dies but i thought that was from the fresh rebuild it hasnt even been running for 10 minutes yet.

there are only 2 ground terminals on the harness and they have very good grounds/.

since my temp guage dosent seem to be working is it possible to hook up the oil pressure wrong?

 

My friends car had a wacko oil pressure guage, turned out he had a crack in a wire and it topuched the outer case of the sensor and made the guage read crazy high.

How did you manage to get the car running?
