Just installed Rtek 1.7 and more fuel.

I just thought I would share my impressions of this install and performance.

Mods/car: 87 T2 s4 block, streetport, 9.4 compression rotors, 5k miles on rebuild done by myself. Full turboback with Apex N1 duel catback, bonez intake, MBC, no emissions, bunch of gauges, ect....

Installed: Rtek 1.7 ecu, 750cc secondary injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump.

All three products were plug and play easy installs with everything included for proper install. (noobs keep in mind what may be a 2 hour job for me could take you a couple days and be high on the difficulty scale)

The Rtek chip is one of the best products I have ever bought for a FC. Very affordable and HUGE bang for the buck factor. Great service and turnaround time. I would buy anything from them.

The walbro is a no-brainer. Can't get a better pump for the price. Sure there are better pumps out there, but if your not going over 400hp why waste your money.

The injectors are 750cc units from marren. Perfect fit and work great. Very affordable as well. I went with the 750's instead of the 720s for a little headroom. I'm running high compression rotors and I figured a little extra fuel was a good idea.

Before the install I was running 8psi and was running dead even with a friends stock(healthy) FD. Keep in mind that this was with my Heavy *** 18's. So I figure I was somewhere around 240-250hp at the flywheel.

After install I'm running 12psi so I figure 280fwhp or so. It feels great. The torque curve is flat from 2700-7400+rpms. I hit the rev limiter once.... I need to see if there is a way to raise it to 8k because it just keeps pulling.

Next on the list is a FMIC. Go to college kids... those 6 years are paying off for me now. Everyone is telling me to get a FD.... bleh... FC is in my blood. FC 4 life.

i am planning a similar build i have some rotors from an 85 gsl se with the stock 3 mm apex seals. i am still hoping to run 15 psi with a stand alone or Rtec.
but i have back up cooling mist water injection.
how has tuning been. do you have a wide band to check on your a/f or have you been going to the dyno. sounds realy good i bet it pulls

I can't wait to ride in it....

When are you taking the FMIC off the 300zxTT and putting it on the TII?

(are you going to have your uncle bend you some piping?)

So you're using a stock S4 turbo? Or do you have something else on there? Stock IC too?

That's a good number, I'm considering going the same route.
