Speed machine performance in newest Super Street

You guys have to check this months issue of super street. It has SMP's monstrous FC. Its an 86 TII with a nice silver paint job, wide body kit, roll cage basically most if not all the goodies there offering at that websight. Theres a whole bunch of new **** those guys have for our cars.
This FC has a cosmo engine with some huge street port, balanced/blueprinted rotors, cryo treated e-shaft (no clue what that is supposed to do), very large turbo, 1300cc primary, 1600cc secondary and so on.
Its pushing 750 claimed hp with a 250 shot wet nos system, so basically hes looking at going back in time. I had to ask myself if he's doing it all just for the numbers because i mean 750hp with a nice 250 shot of nitrous is a little overkill, but hey its good for the FC.
These guys obviously went all out but i question how or why they decided to use a stock TII transmission. I mean i heard those were good for around what 400hp max??? So i seriously doubt this is going to be any track car but more of a show car for those guys.

750 with a full nitrous system isn't so far fetched, espcially with the modificaions on that car. There alot of cars that I've seen on this forum running 500rhhp on a simular setup. And plus lets see if the stock tranmission on the system holds up. These guys are good, so I expect this car to be great.

PS: Im sure it'll make an appearance at the track .

Wink

Actually its 750 hp with the 250 shot in reserve..ei 1000hp total.

Quoted from Super Street:

"250 shot wet Nitrous Express four-port system ultimately helps give a little extra kick to the already monstrous 750hp"

Nitrous is just for some extra freeway fun . Got to love South 15, but thats San Diego for you.

going back in time..lol. That car sounds so sweet. SMP is pretty cool, i've ordered some things from them. I *heard* that cryo treatment is basically a way to make the metal stronger.

I was checking out their websight and they actually dont have that body kit on the car. It looks like an RE kit but im not sure.
Either way those guys are doing a great job keeping the FC in the spotlight i mean just look at how they introduced it, in huge letters all you see is BACK IN THE DAY.

I agree because of the headlights. Stockish headlights would've looked 1000000000000x better. Other than that I love the car, though.

Speed machine is riced-out FC deal. They try to hard to look like JDM. They've been in business for 1 year maybe 2 and they act like they are the **** in US Rotary world. We have many shops he with 20-25 year experience with rotaries.

I won't get excited by someone whos cars compete only in "SHOW" category.

I'de have to disagree, FC3s.org has been around for a while and check their other cars. They don't seem to be ricey at all. They used a S5 front bumper and widebody fenders (for a purpose ;o!). All they did was give it a nice paint job. I don't see the problem with what they do .

Thats why Falken just had Dave and FC3s.org build their drift FD!

I would have to say that that fc lacks styling , its like they had a certain budget and went all out for engine upgrades ,seldom exterior upgrades, they used stock s/4 mirrors come on !

I didnt realize that race cars needed to be designer styled.

I've had this car on my wallpaper for a lil while now. Cause that car is what I hope mine could someday be. Its NOT overly done on the exterior or the interior. But its ***** to the walls under the hood. I love that car. I think they did a damn good job with it.

Man o' Man what an FC that is...750 rwhp with out the nitrous?!? I wish I could... I don't know... I'm just kinda speechless... What do U do with all that? I'd be happy with half those horses.. or half the CF.. or half the paint.. LOL Oh but to ask what she could be if only!?! someone has to build them like that or else we would never see what truly could be. I found an earlier pic of this on another site (design images?) Absolutely mad about it.
