Just a friendly question???

What FACTORY Turbo Rotary Engine "SERIES" do YOU prefer and why?

The: S4, S5, OR S6

and since were on the topic, which engine is probably the best all around
(as far as power, reliability etc)

I prefer the 13BRE Cosmo engine or the 20B D series Cosmo engine for a turbo rotary engine.

But you didn't list those... so of the ones you listed:

Power and reliability are two different things. You need to pick one.

For example, the S6 motor makes the most power, but is by far the least reliable.

The S4 motor makes the least power but is by far the most reliable.

Sorry... but please do include any rotarys still in use today...
I see what you mean but the reason why i didnt choose only power or only reliability is because i wanted to know what the engines do to reliability when they have good amounts of power.

In what aspects? I mean ofcourse they increase power and reliability, but what are the specific "IMPROVEMENTS" of each engine? does the S4 still make less power but is more reliable? Does the S6 still not improve its realiability? basicly i just want to know what makes the Series of engines differ from eachother, and i also just wanted to know what those who have owned the engines have gone through with them as far as POWER & RELIABILITY.

Series 5 for me. Out of factory FCs here in the US the S5 made the most power and was the more modern engine. My S5 makes 350whp and has NEVER left me stranded.
