Just bought a 2nd Gen

My stepson totaled my 91 Miata, so I traded it as a parts car for a running '87 RX-7. This is a base model with 196K on original engine. No dings, only a scrape here and there. Interior is clean, 14" phone dial rims, ....no power windows, no sunroof, no cruise control, no turbo, no smoke......, just a functioning car.

This will be my daily driver (about 40 miles roundtrip for work).

It is White w/black pinstripe and Blue interior

The only thing wrong is the driver seat is ripped at the left lumbar......

Can 3rd Gen seats fit in a 2nd Gen??

If so, I have an extra set from my '93 VR RX-7.....they were cloth & I replaced them with leather.

There are no mods to this car......everything is stock except the Alpine CD player.

So now I'm a multiple rotary owner!

I guess your seach button is broken since this comes up every couple of months...

If you would have searched you would have found that they can be made to fit with custom mounting... but they do not in any way bolt in.

by lumbar do you mean the side part on the bottom or the top? because mine had a rip at the bottom, right where the vynal and cloth came together and it kept getting worse. i glued it together with shoe goo, and its held together great.
