Sir, could you please be a little less specific?
Actually i'm joking, tell us exactly what goes on, what rpm's stuff like that man.

i'm not sure EXACTLY what you're talking about.... but my '90 turbovert does that too.... maybe it has something to do with the fact that it used to be an automatic n/a, then got full TII swap, then blew TII engine, so the n/a and n/a auto ECU was put back on.... but it idles maybe 1100 RPMS, and that is as low as it will go. but when i turn on lights, A/C, etc.... it drops the RMS and the ECU kicks it back up at 1k.... so it basically idles like ****.

anybody know what's going on ??

(not meaning to hijack your thread, btw, just wondering while we're on the subject of shitty idling verts :-D)

You have not provided enough information to help... describe your problem more in depth

So the idle is not consistent??? This is your jumping problem??? That the idle surges between 1500 and 3000???

If that is the case it is probably a bad BAC or an AWS solenoid installed backwards.

To make a car jump you need to head down to the barrio and have hydraulics installed.

no it has a steady idle of 1500 rpm and when driving the car when you get up to about 3000 rpm the car starts jumping as if the engine is cutting out or somthing

Okay first off the idle should be at 700, not 1500. If your idle is at 1500 then there is a serious problem right there.

So then you are loosing power at 3000??? or it is surging to high RPMs??? or ???

See you have posted three times, and we still don't have enough info. Write a book if you have to... but you need to say what really is happening.

You need to put in as much detail as you can for anyone to help you.

ok well lets see while driving the car it does fine until you hit 3000 rpm when you hit 3000 rpm the engine surges up to about 3500 then back to 3000 over and over until you let off of the gas then it runs fine ..............it kinda like when you hit a rev limiter i guess is the way you put it

Check your TPS (search will yield more than enough info to accomplish this), then write your book for us...

Tell you what. Try to disconnect your tps and then go for a drive and see if you have the same symptoms. Write back. The TPS connector is but inches from the TPS.

I had the exact same problem and it turned out my OMP was bad and the ECU was in limp home mode. Are you getting a check engine light?
