Jet v-force performance module

i posted a thread about this a few months ago and it went no where . does anyone have a jet v-force on their na fc ? for those of you that dont know, the jet v-force is a module that utilizes two RISC 20mhz processors to optimize the ignition spark advance and recalibrate the fuel map for optimum horsepower and acceleration. it claims perfermance from idle to WOT and about a 9% horsepower increase . it cost from $200-$250 depending on who you get it from . its pretty cool looking, can be turned on/off and its fairly simple to hook up . now i didnt believe the claims made due to what i've heard about JET but flipping through one of my old super street mags i seen a test done on this product . they installed it on a mildly modded honda accord and dyno tested it . i was impressed by the numbers , according to the dyno sheets it gave power throughout the power band, added 8 hp to the wheels, and if my memory serves me correctly 6lb/ft of torque . i've made up my mind and i am purchasing this product as soon as the extra money is available to me , if anyone has any experience with it please feel free to add to this thread . i dont remember wich issue i seen the test in , i've been looking but no luck i think i misplaced it . im almost positive that it was in the superstreet with an orange skyline that belongs to Signal and i dont think the issue is more than a year old . if anyone knows the exact issue its in please let me know so i can find it . i just wanted to share this with everyone thinking about getting a modded ecu or something similar .

Hmm. - sounds like a chip with an on/off feature and some customization options. Not near as expensive as a haltech.

Note I wouldn't run that think 100% of the time though without some serious gagues to monitor you engine's health.

Sounds interesting, where could I go to read up a little more on this?

I don't think I'll get one, I just want to see some of the specifics.

it basically is a chip that you can turn on and off . thats what i like about it , no need to remove your ecu , and the ability to turn it off when its not needed . e.g. long highway trips . that way you can save some gas . you can check it out at www.jetchip.com although there isnt much text on it .the august 2001 issue of superstreet has a small write up on it in the focus parts section ..its basically the same unit but for domestic rides . also if you look for the jet ad in any superstreet you'll find a little information on it . there was also a test done on the product in the superstreet mag with the orange signal racing skyline on the cover . it was done on an accord but i cant seem to find that issue , so i cant tell you wich month and year it is , but if any of you know let me know . if you have any other question or info to ad feel free .
