JDM Dummy cluster has no engine light.

So the only thing that lights up is my clock. I have the jdm cluster in with the wiring and everything to match and I noticed the cluster doesn't have an engine or seat belt light. I was wondering if the oil or any other lights are suppose to come on when you turn the key on with the j spec models. I tried plugging in the a spec cluster but still only got clock. I've searched for cluster threads. I've checked all my fuses. Maybe something still needs to be hooked up. How do they tell when a sensor or something goes out without an engine warning light? I haven't hooked up my sun roof and dome lights yet. what about the outside air sensor the seat on the right side, is that important? I haven't hooked that up.

Update. I went ahead and opened the rear hatch and the hatch light in the cluster works.

Other than not having a CEL, the Japanese clusters work identically to US ones. If you're worried about not having a CEL, put the right warning cluster in...
