jdm conversion,ecu problems

Ive been working on my car for quite some time now, and since ive swapped to a turbo motor my rx7 hasnt been able to start. It cranks over revs up to about 2 grand then shuts off. The jdm ecu that i bought was tuned by blitz access. Could it be that the tuned ecu is causing the fuel to shut off because of the FCD. Any help would gladly be excepted. thanks

remeber that the JDM ECU and engine do not come with AWS (accelareted warmup system). i have done the swap and also have a Tuned ECU. hold the gas down for about 20sec or so after the car starts. it should hold its idle just fine afterwards. you will need to warm the car up yourself.

Sounds like the AFM isn't plugged in.

Highly unlikely. Why would it?

The lack of AWS has nothing to do with this. It's not needed to start or idle the engine.

That would only be required if the thermowax has been removed from the TB.

agreed on afm. especially if the comp was tuned, wouldnt the afm have to be re-calibrated for that?

AWS was used my mazda to warm up the cats faster to reduce pollution. If you have to raise the revs much above 1k to keep it from dieing, there is prob something else wrong with the car.

hhmmmm. this is no bueno. i guess i'll have to look at my car when i get back and find the real problem. thanks

AFM is common sense. i figured if he did a swap, he would already know about this and maybe there was another prob.
