Headlight Relay Question

well like the tittle said it's about the headlight relay it burned out and i dont have time to wait for one i heard of people using relays from other cars from different things and it worked but they never went into detail about the part used could someone help me with that thank you.

I ordered mine from the Mazda dealership, took two days to recieve. The funny thing about it they didnt even have a listing for the relay. They called me back after researching and finally found it. The mazda dealership

yeah i moved to OKC and the dealership is far away and i wont be a ble to order it for like a week becuase i have to go down there in person so that is why i wa asking about the other way.

You can use a standard 30A automotive relay from any parts shop. Cut the plug off and either crimp female spade connectors on the wires or (better) get a matching plug for the relay and solder the wires together. Connect like this:

Red wires to pins 30 and 85
White/blue wire to pin 86
Red/green wire to pin 87

thanks i will try it last time i asked for the relay at a parts shop they had nothing that looked it (yeah this has happen before stupid relay)

You won't find the stock relay anywhere other than Mazda. I'm suggesting replacing it with a common 30A relay like this instead. You'll find one at any auto parts store.
