J-Spec + Cali emissions = ??
Hey, I was wondering if anybody has gotten a j-spec to pass CA emissions, and if all that's required is slapping on my current intake/exhaust manifolds. Thanks.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
I got it to passed on test (I asked for test only just so I could see how it was running) a rebuilt motor, custom down pipe, a bonez high flow, and the stock cat back.
But that's with new plugs/wires/filters/motor/injectors/re-soldered 338 ECU.

there is no reason why it wouldnt pass. There are NO numbers on the motor for anyone to check. For all anyone knows, its the motor that came with the car. If its stock and has working emmissions equipment, you will pass.

So (after replacing filters etc), one could theoretically strap it in with all of the old japanese equipment and pass the sniffer? Thanks
