its going to take some thinking to fix this
ok so lets start from the begining
started the car let it warm up like always,
drove it about 15 miles did a couple litte drifts nothing to major
let the car idle for about a min. before turning it off
started it a hour later and drove a couple miles where i parked it and let it stay running for about 5 -7 mins,
noticed my tach. wasnt working.
also i have always had my hatch an door lights on the dash. those went out,
my heater has stopped blowing at all ( i knowcommon problem)
when i turn on my headlights theres a beeping coming from god knows where
all this at once
what could it be...?
recent work:
assortment of wires hooked back up at local shop, abs is 1 of them
about a week ago though. drited and driven since them no probs.

ok so are the heater, speedo, and dashlights all related

A shop shitty enough to leave wires loose prob isnt gonna own up to their mistake. They will find it, say it was something else, and charge you. When they do that..............find a different shop or start accumulating tools and fc shop books. Good luck what ever you do.

The METER fuse feeds all the warning light bulbs. It also feeds power to the TACH. Although the trail coil feeds the signal to the tach, it also needs the power wire from .....the METER fuse. Swap the meter fuse with a good one.
Then again, the METER fuse also feeds power to those OTHER gauges, and you didn't say they were not working. So, it's up in the air.

As much as I hate to say this, because it's The Answer To Everything, it may be time to check grounds. A bad ground (or multiples) can cause problems like this. Search the forums, there are about a kajillion posts on it.
ECU ground (top of the engine) and the ground at the rear coils first.
