I had a friend put them on his escort...compliant ride. they were progressive. stiffened it up quite a bit. i personally didn't like them. I went with a GC kit.

gxlbiscuit: what is the maximum amount of lowering you can do with those ground control coilovers, is it 1.5 inches like it claims or even lower?

also, i have intrax on my fc. all i can say is that they yeilded little to no difference

i really cant tell you how low but i know they can get really low in ther rear i cant seem to get it too low in the front. you can get the car low enough to where you need camber adjustment in the rear easily.. the car will sit just as low as intrax..i had a buddy with them... his car sat too low cuz he had stupid 205/40/17 what a wierdo size. ground controls may be harsh to some people.. the correct shocks(adjustables) will suppress it . like i said i love them.. Any of you people have some facts to back up bashing intrax springs? I use them with tokico blues and they are a good stiff upgrade over stock and they drop it pretty aggressively. Good for street use and won't jar the teeth out of your head.

It's never a good idea to put stiffer springs on 100k mile+ shocks. It'll kill them instantly.
