interior lights/gauges turn on when i press brakes and voltage drops

when i press the brakes and hold them down hard the volts go down and the car starts bogging, along with that the interior lights and gauges all turn on

the wire that i hooked up on the brake pedal is causing this , but if i take off this clip the brake lights wont work

i dont know if i hooked it up wrong or what is wrong, along with that my clock is not turning on either and sometimes i hear a beeping like maybe a door open sound ? i dont know but it does it then just goes away ?

what is your voltmeter reading when this happens???

It should be above 13.5 volts... if it is not, well your alt is probably starting to fail
