no fuel?
I have been reading the threads on the rebuids that wont start and am having the same trouble. I have spark but no fuel on the plugs. there is fuel in the rail. if i pull the CAS (i guess its the Dist looking thing) and turn the gear I hear the clicking(injectors?) so how do I check the injectors or do I have to take them somewhere to be tested?

yes it has pressure, when I take the line coming from the fuel filter of it sqirts fuel when it cranks. as far as being backwars if I take the line from the fuel rail off closest to the firewall i get fuel there? dont know if that is backwards or not?

Fuel flows from the tank pump, to the pulse damper, to one rail, to the other rail, to the FPR, & back to the tank.
If they are reversed, the FPR acts like a check valve & stops the flow.

So - you have fuel pressure on the rails and you can hear the injectors clicking - you've got fuel..
I have bench tested injectors using the pressure side of a mity-vac hand pump, some tubing, some carb cleaner, and a 6 volt battery.
Be careful - sparks & flamables can be exciting!

On a USA engine the front pipe should be connected to the line from the fuel filter.
The rear pipe should be the return line.
The *pipes* I talk about are the ones the fuel hoses attach to on the left side of the engine.
