But you are right, no intercooler for an N/A.

Karack really answered your ? but I thought this outlook may help you.
On a N/A you are pulling atmospheric air and that is already an ambient temp. So turbo cars are cooling there heated charged air buy running ambient air through it.
On a N/A you will just be running ambient air thought the intercooler that has ambient air in it. So you will not cool the air in any way just cause flow to be restricted going through it.
However if you build a cold box around the intake pipe that will work. You can add anything like ice, dry ice and so on in the box. this as well can be said about your fuel by running a cold box or heat diaphragm on the fuel lines.
A design I like is a coiled heat pipe air sealed with a liquid such as farinert however its spelled from 3m. It is if I remember right -800F and is a non electro conductive liquid. But costs around 250$ a gallon. The idea is a coiled copper pipe that looks like --~~~~-- running through the intake pipe welded to a sealed box around it. Not to practical but good for racing :-)
Ether way hope that helps some.
