intercooler install...

Well I got my intercooler installed today(well tonight by the time it was done). It wasn't too bad really. Looks real good, but we couldn't get the bumper back on since we ran out of dremel blades(and energy). Does anyone have this kit on an S4 with the stock front bumper? I already cut it out alot in the front but it doesn't even fit in the corners where the brake ducts are. Looks like I really need to cut it almost all the way out. Anyone have pics of how theres looks?

Well, perhaps if you'd told us which IC kit it is...

this is on an S4. The dimensions on the skin aren't supposed to be that much different. Post pics when you can.

I have a Spearco 27 x 7.5 x 3.5 and it fits perfect up in that 27" across gap just behind the bumper. I have a BoMex skin and was able to keep the real bumper behind it, which I recomend doing so. How big is that IC you have??

I'm not really sure, I'll see if I can measure it. Its not at my house. I already opened up the bumper as much a I want to but it still won't fit because it hits the pipes on the sides. I don't want to have to make the middle connect to the brake duct holes but I guess I will if I have to. Pics of the intercooler can be found here though:

If you install this kit can you still have brake ducts?

The one on the passenger side I just trimmed, but the drivers side one I had to get rid of completely.

that yellow cars IC setup is cool, however it looks as if there is no bumper behind the skin.....Is this your car or is this how yours will be? Thats a big IC forsure.

I can send you photos of my setup if you leave your e-mail.... Mine looks alot like Soul Assasins setup (before he sold everything) I didn't copy him either, but needless to say the first time I saw his I was like "hey thats like mine" it works good though with minimal bends...

Huh, that is intresting you have to remove the brake ducts. Are you going to run some sort of new brake ducts?

Do they really assist in cooling?
