Integra Vs FC

I was at a local parts store a few weeks ago and i bumped into an old classmate. He was standing in the parking lot next to a freind. We started talking and he asked what kind of car i had. When I told him that i recently got an FC. His freind then said that he beat an FC in his civic and said that RX-7's were slow! (this really pissed me off) Anyways, he challanged me to a race and gave my his number. By the way, he belongs to a racing crew wich consists mainly of riced out civics and integs. The details are - He drives a '94+ integra (im not sure if its a GS-R or whatever other ones there are) w/ headers, a downpipe, no cat, and the Apex N1 muffler. He also has the Apex'i Power intake. (Im not to sure about how much hp the stock integra of that year has. i did some research and found that they have about 170hp. is his right? if it is, then it'll be pretty tough to beat him. oh and how much do they weigh? i really want to beat his ***, not just for the glory, but to show him that RX-7's kick ***! Right now i only have an Apex'i intake and HKS cat-back, but by summer i want to put in the headers and hi flow cat. I've also removed the spare tire, jack, and all insulation in the back. So ... who would win?

I'd bet if you had all the open exhaust installs that he has you'd pass him in 4th gear at about 5,000 rpm

No one bothered to ask but I am assuming that your car is N/a right?

PS. If so it would be a tough one to beat him. Unless of course he has the crappiest base model they had and you are a good driver.

Yo *** them dumb *** front wheel drives yo if u got a good to excellent clutch you,ll smoke him but u gotta heat those tires up and also get your rpms up cause you get more rpms then a piston engine and you got rear wheel drive so when u pop the clutch to launch all your weight gets transfered to the back while he loses traction u see everybody thinks front wheel drive is so great but its not kill him for all fcs.

just make sure the "track" is long enough to give you enough time to overtake him, we suck off the line, unless we're tearing up the trannies...but once we hit that magical 4th gear surge, watch out!

Power to weight ratios:

FC- 2623 lbs and 160hp@7000 rpm (stock)

Integ- 2699 lbs and 170hp@7600 rpm (stock) ... wait, i thought rx7's were high revving engines.

For the FC thats about 16.39 lbs per hp. (stock)

For the Integ thats about 15.87 lbs per hp. (stock)

So, the integ wins (stock) ... but we aren't racing stock.
