intake maniflold removal and now car wont cut off
Well i pulled the top half of the intake manifold off of my tII swapped se rx7 to put my adjustable fuel regulator on. After i put it all together i cranked it up and it ran perfect as always and everything worked. But, all of the dummy lights are on and i can turn the key back and take it out and the car will still run. I have to take the wire off of the fuse box to cut power to the main relay. I have tested this issue with a new ignition switch and fuse holder. From what i can see by the schematics the main relay is in the fuel injection harness and not the start/ignition harness. Ima pull the intake back off tomorrow and see if i pinched something while putting it back on. Ive done that job atleast 20 times now so i am so confused. Any ideas?

It sounds like an alternator or alternator wiring problem. As in the wires on the back of the alt are crossed up and backfeeding alt pwr thru the black/white wire there to the ignition circuit.
In other words make sure the alt wires are mated right.

If this helps also, the car does not have to be running for the dummy lights and the ignition system to have power. If i turnt the key to the start position and cut it back off all the dummy lights stay on and the ignition system has power. It does not cut off until i disconnect the power wire from the fuse box(battery is in storage bin).

One thing you could do that is pretty easy is to remove the two wire plug ( one wire is B/W and the 2nd is B )from beneath the main relay and check for voltage of the B/W wire with key to on, should have battery voltage when doing so, and then what the voltage is, if any, when the key is turned to off ( should have zero voltage). This will help to narrow down the problem.

Like said above, pull the TWO wire Main Relay plug and see what happens. IF the Main Relay is sticking, then the car will keep running. BUT you already said pulling the ENGINE fuse causes it to die.
ENGINE fuse feeds several things, one of which is the black/white wire on the alternator. So maybe pull the alt small plug off and see if it dies or not. IF it dies, then the alt is backfeeding pwer to the ENGINE fuse.
Turbo car and can't get to the alt plug? Then pull the plug off and then start the car and turn the key to OFF. and see if it dies or not. Don't run for extended periods of time with the small plug off the alt.
IN other words the buss called IG1 is being back fed power when the key is to OFF. IG1 should only be powered up if the key is to ON. The ignition switch FEEDS the interior fuse box busses called IG1 and IG 2. Key to OFF and none of those fuse on those buss get power unless one or more of the fuses is getting backfed power from???????????? alternator or some miswire that is feeding batt buss power to the IG1 buss.

thanks for all the input guys. I fixed it a few minutes ago. I plugged in a connector in the wrong place last night in the dark after putting the manifold on. I guess it was sending power to somewhere it wasnt supposed to. I feel alot better now.
