Intake/Exaust Package

Hey guys, just wondering what a good set-up would be for a stock 86 N/A. You know, a little louder, beefier etc. I've heard good things about Racing beat. Anyways I have about 700$ maybe more. Any advice would be appreciated.

try and get true duals from the engine ports seperated all the way to the tips. and get a turbo II fuel pump, rewire fuel pump, and nitrous (depends on your driving style).

Wow, that was really bad advice.

Dont get a TII fuel pump, it wont do squat for you, your fuel pump is fine. And $700 wont get you true duals.

I reccomend a quality catback system (Racing Beat!) and if you havent done it already, a full tuneup.

turbo II fuel pump was to support nitrous buddy, you can certaintly get true duals for $700, maybe not racing beat but custom made at the exhaust shop. well i got a turbo so the bigger the exhaust pipe the more power for me. (pressure differential),

I got my car a few months ago with a brand new factory rebuild. I got to break in the motor . It is in wicked shape. But on the negitive, after driving for a few months, I'm pretty bored of it and want a street port (Not to mention I got a bad case of TII fever). Unfortunately after i bought the car I found out it is a waste of time and money to rip apart a perfectly good engine to street port it, (better to street port when rebuilding an engine anyway). Tsk, Tsk, So any ways I'm pretty much stuck with what I got.

So now I just wanna make it nicer and then sell it to one of my friends, (all my friends are obsessed with my car but can't find a descent one for themselves ). So after i sell it, I'll upgrade to TII. That's the plan anyway.

If your still running the factory exhaust then there is good power to be gained by replacing it. You mentioned Racing Beat and that is a good place to start. Wether you go true duals or get the header and presilener and a good catback you will make more HP instantly. To me the next step is an EMS like Haltech or Microtech. If your capable of it the Megasquirt is also an alternative. If your still disappointed, then put the factory pieces back on and sell the car. The catback and EMS can be used on a TII. Just my opinion.

Then you go FD pump or Walboro.
