I pay 41 a month for just liability for my 86 GXL. I am 30, not married, and have a perfect driving record......I also get a 5% multi-car discount on top of that, but that is only because I have too many toys.....

well I pay about $380 for full coverage for the 'vert for the year (and that includes the rider for the 13BT motor and drivetrain), so I am guessing on the liability end.

I insure the 'vert with a different insure company than I do for the Pre-runner and SC, so I don't get a multi car discount on it.

Helps if you are married, work from home, own a home, have no tickets, and are 40 years old.

Dude! You are seriously getting bent over and butt raped! I'm 24 and FULL coverage on my 88 vert is only $57 a month through Progressive, and that's with 1 ticket.

1 ticket in '01
liability only...
Geico: 589.00/6 mos.
State Farm: 571.00/6mos
Progressive: 606.00/6 mos.

I think it may be the area that I am in...

Thanks for the input though

I know I am getting raped, its a REAL long story how it happened in short:

Had whole family kicked of liberty mutual.

Family couldn't get insurance without my proof of insurance from another company.

Only company willing after EXTENSIVE searching to give me insurance while I lived at the same residence was Progressive and a hefty fee of $360 a month liability.

I had no choice, I couldn't let my family suffer for my mistakes.

Oh here is the kicker, that sudden raise in insurance rate took all the money I had saved up to finish my RX-7, so it had to sit and wait till I could save up more.

Nothing like paying 380 bucks a month for a YEAR and not be able to drive the car...

Sorry for the rant

Dan

As far as my record goes:
2 Speeding tickets (one was after the hike)
2 accidents, not at fault but somehow I got the blame?!?!?!!?
1 ticket for failure to provide identification

All that equates to lots of money for insurance companies!
