Installing SS brake lines tonight, tips?

I got some stainless steal brake lines from Mazdatrix and I'm going to install them tonight. Normally this is the kind of thing I'd just put in and not worry about but the Mazdatrix site has a warning about having these installed by a professional.

I'm not worried about the install or bleeding process, that's straight-forward enough and tire rubbing definatly won't be a problem.

The only thing that worries me is that they could kink if I install them incorrectly but I figure if I turn the fronts left and right to check for binding and ensure the back won't binch I'll be ok.

they are cake

The only reason that Mazdatrix probably has that on their site is liability so that some stupid tart doesn't put them on and head straight for a stop light at 60mph without bleeding the brakes.

They are seriously about as easy as it gets, you won't have any trouble

Get a flare wrench for the brake fittings.

I already have the flare wrench, speed bleeders were installed last week, and I threw some PB Blaster on the connections to ensure no trouble arises.

Good to hear that I'm not going to burn my house down by installing 'em though, thanks for the input guys.

Install them exactly as per the stock ones. Unless they're longer or different to the stock ones you shouldn't have any probelm. If the are different then send them back and buy some that match the stock ones.

No, you only bleed from the upper screw. The lower one is only used if the caliper is disassembled. Read the FSM.

Why is that anyways? Does an immovable air bubble form or something happen with the emergency brake portion of the caliper?

I have, and that is what it says, my pedal was still spongy until I bled both, just speaking from experience.
