Installing Body Kit Help.

Hey what up guys. I picked up a demon kit for my fc and i got some issues

For the kit does the sides slap on top of the exsisting fenders?

I got pics

Does the side just sit on top or do i have to remove and trim my fender?

Thanks

post it up here dude alot of people will assist u
http://fiberglassforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=12

you should remove the molding/light. The kit should fit over it like a glove.
mine fits over the fender area http://tunerbase.com/RX7/IMAGE_022.jpg

If you have to cut/trim the fender, I would not deal with that kit, it will just burn the down teh bridge and you cant go back lol

im not a fan of that kit, but give props for the guy wanting to learn and work on his car himself unlike some people who are afraid to touch theirs or put down other's personal tastes.

Oh nice so it just goes over. Not bad at all. HyperTek I couldnt seem to be able to register for that forum, there was no place to input the nospam information. *shrug*

So at what point does it actually connect and hold to the body? I would have thought they would have had a little thing so you could use the stock screw holes, but I guess not. Is all the weight put on the sides?

Also to Nytrate it look's like that lower fender part that you are going to be covering up, was painted once before (and not very well) was this car in any prior accidents by chance?

When I got the car it had a clean carfax. I think it got kicked in by some dumbass or something a long that line.

If it was in an accident it wasnt reported.

I can use the stock bolts because I just line up the kit than drill holes for the stock bolts its fairly simple to me.

I will have more pics when I get the front bumper on tonight or tomorrow.

Paint wont be for a few more weeks until i get paid next week or even the check after that.

Thanks
Taylor

I was able to register. While the welcome message page says you can go to the forums, you can't. You have to log in first. Other than that, it was pretty straightforward.
