Installed 720cc's, now problems....
if you don't have the right chip for the pfc fcon and you are trying to run it with 720cc injectors.... you will definitely go tremendous rich when your secondaries kick in. especially if you have an 87-88 turbo II. 87-88 turbo IIs are infamous for fuel flooding problems even with the stock ECU. to somewhat remedy some of this problem, Racing Beat and/or Mazdatrix sells a fuel bypass set up.
With the PFC FCON and GCC, you can tune the GCC +/- 25% in certain points of the map. Unfortunately, the GCC is very limited in it's points of tuning... if you want to lean out the pfc fcon, you can open the box and play with the dial **** inside the box. make sure you remember the origial number on the dial **** just in case you want it back to the normal setting. don't touch anything else. anyways, the lesser the number, the leaner you go by approximately 2% accross the board on the fuel curve. If you go "0" it bypasses the chip all together and runs straight through the PFC FCON on the stock fuel curve. "9" is full rich in reference to the fuel map on the PFC.
the S-AFC is a quick fix. anytime you use a airflow/map sensor signal voltage modifier, you are sending fake signals to the ECU to send more or less fuel... quite dangerous if you want to increase boost. to a certain point, more fuel can balance the amount of boost you want to run, but remember, the timing stays constant. S-AFC does not modify timing at all. PFC F-CON does not either. the more boost you run at the current timing from the ECU, the more danger for you to PING.
if you really want to maximize performance and fuel economy, not to mention be more daily drivable especially in a region where the weather can drastically change, you need a better ECU. even more important, a good tuner.
you are in alberta? COOOOOOL one of the best tuner shops i know is in alberta. it's called RCTS. Reg there is one of the most knowledgeable and most experienced tuner out there. I know for a fact that he has done rotaries as well. you will have a lot of options as well in your choice of ECU. I suggest you at least talk to him. He's not cheap, but he is extremely good.

i am not sure which model GCC you have, but normally the switch in the back changes the range points of adjsutments. i don't have the specific numbers, you might want to try to find a instructions manual explaining the range differences. it may help. but i still do suggest that you at least visit RCTS. it's a bad *** shop!
