injectors? porting S5 wg?

i did a search, but theres a lot of mixed opinion on this board...and im looking for facts.

im going to run dp/mp/catback...with the stock TID with a cone filter. ill have a walbro and fcd in the car within the week. the car is a 10AE with a S5 turbo, streetport.

is more fuel necessary? ive been told that it will spike, so i need the fuel, but some people here are holding 9-10psi on an unporteg wg, and no fuel mods.

so those with experience with this setup, please speak up. your FACTS can help me make my decision on either more fuel and tuning, or FMIC/e-fan.

and how do you port the WG? i cant figure out how to get the wg flap off.

You may or may not spike. I think you'll hit around 12psi woithout porting the wastegate.

Port the wastegate by bending the flapper arm, removing the backing plate, and getting your carbide bit in there.

I have your same mods and a ported engine, and maintain 10 psi with a ported S5 wastegate. I creeped prior to the porting.

were you ok with fuel?

bend back the actuator arm? the flapper arm seems way to heavy duty to be bent.

you bend it away from the housing and the flapper will "flap" up enough to port it.

Bent with a pair of needle nose pliers
heat it up with MAP gas if you need to.

It'd be a good idea... but not entirely necessary. I have only a fuel pump and FPR.
