Injectors... maybe?

Hey i searched but couldnt find an clear answer.
Sorry i am a noob, i am trying to learn about this basic stuff at least.
My car is 88' GXL with intake/all new exhaust from manifold back.

My symptoms:

Throttle seems to stutter or lag momentarily when less than 1/2 way open ussually around 3000 rpm.
Bad mileage, going to calculate mpg.
White/grayish smoke when cold. I see this from a lot of cars mine just smokes a lot until driven a few miles.
Volt meter jumps from 12 to 14 randomly with cluth let out.
solid 14 when driving.
Exhaust smells rich but not like rotten eggs

Car doesnt use any oil or coolant, literally so i dont think its seals.
Compression is good tested last week.
spark plugs are fresh but i have needed to change or clean these about every 3000 miles cause they get blackened dirty.
I have changed the fuel filter.
Air filter is clean.
I have added injector cleaner to gas but not noticed much improvement.
I run premix with tcw3 2stroke oil.

So im thinking either my injectors are dirty or i have grounding issues or both.
Any other ideas from you more experienced guys?

Where on the west-coast would you send injectors to be serviced?
How can i test for bad groundage?

Sorry i know this stuff gets asked a lot but i need simple answers for my in-experianced car skills. I have a haynes manual but dont find it real helpfull.
Any constructive comments/ideas greatly appreciated. This car has been well taken care of but doesnt see a lot of hard driving really.

First, test and adjust the TPS.

Then check your grounds. After the grounds are verified, make sure your coolant temp sensor is plugged in and reading right (see Factory Service Manual).

If those check out, have the injectors serviced. In the Yellow Pages you should find several local injection shops which will be much more convenient then sending them out to an internet based shop.

The low/mid rev mis-fire - Clip a meter on the TPS & check for a worn spot in the plunger sweep.

White smoke when cold - nearly all cars do that. Until the exhaust gets hot, you often see condensation on start up.

The rich exhaust smell - All rotaries idle rich, but your TPS may be making it worse.

With rotaries you have to clean & check the plugs with each oil change.
Rotaries eat steel leading plugs in 6-10K miles. I use NGK BUR7EQP platinums in the leading hole for that longer lasting experience..

I have a mirror set of the manuals on-line at the link in my sig.
