injector swap ?

Hey, i did a search on the topic and nothing really answered my question, anyways.

so i swapped an s5 turbo engine into an s4 car and my question is. when using the high imp s5 injectors with a n332 ecu, how would i go by making everything work out, bypassing the solenoid res package? keeping it? or what?

sorry if i sound n00b, im just a kid and im trying to do the swap by myself so i need as much help as i can get, thanks guys.

The ECU has nothing to do with it. If you're using high-imp injectors with a harness that has a resistor pack, you need to bypass it. All FC ECU's must see a high-imp load.

The resistor pack looks like the one in the jpg attached. You remove the afm/airfilter assy and look down. It is bolted to the chassis down there. It has one large round plug with five wires.

Pay no attention to the words on my jpg. Just look at the pack.

If you DO have that pack on your car, all you do is cut the wires (all five) about in the middle of that pigtail harness. Then solder or crimp ALL five together and cover with shrink tubing or whatever. Reinstall the round plug on the EM harness and your through. That is you through IF your new engine has high impedence injectors.

I have an s4 n/a, and I am swapping a 13bt into my car. But I am retaining the n/a harness, what do i have to do to use high imp. injectors? also what makes high imp. injectors better?

like he said earlier you have to bypass the solenoid.
high imp injectors put out more ohms.
