i have an 87 n/a. i only see 2 injectors is that all there is or is there 4 of them? thanks

 

There's 4. The other 2 are under the UIM. Below is a pic of the UIM (ignore the wiring).

All of this can be found in the FSM.

UIM = Upper Intake Manifold. That's what that picture is showing for you up there.

i see the ones under the uim in my car but they are the only 2 i see and i dont see the other 2 injectors. i lookd for them multipile times but still dont see them, i might be blind lol, i even lookd for a second fuel rail but dont see one anywhere. why didnt they just put all four injectors in the same spot? and on the same rail? lol. but i see the 2 u have markd in red they are the 2 that i see on my car and the only ones i see on my car. im lost. thanks again

 

they are on two rails because the secondaries need to be further up the intake since air flow is higher when the rpms get faster. injector needs to be further from the intake port to give a proper amount of time for the gas and air to mix. Secondary injectors come online at 3800 rpm.

 

They're on the center iron, and a bit hidden by the upper intake. Here's an image with the upper intake removed:



Pay no attention to the blue circle.

 

ahhhhhhh kool thanks alot guys i would have never found them with out your help. ok so the secondaries are the ones on top and the primaries are on the bottom the ones i couldnt find. ok i have that 3,800rpm hesitation so i need to replace the ones on top or should i just replace all of my injectors? some1 told me to check some ground wire but of course again i cant find it lol im such a rx7 noob lol, thanks so mjuch guys

im soooo confused after reading that lol, i dont ko what a boost sensor is or where to add an extra ground wire, damn im a dumbass...lol

 

Guess it is kind of confusing.

The boost sensor is on the bumper side of the passenger side shock tower. Basically, find the Br/B (brown wire with a black stripe) coming out of the 4 prong connector and splice in another ground wire.

 

Ok, thats that little black box. so i just find that wire and splice it and add another wire and ground it to the body of the car and that should solve my hesitation problem? kk im gonna go try that lol

 

ok i found the little black box it says pressure sensor on it and it has a vacume line coming off the bottom. it has a solid black wire
a black wire with a white stripe
brown with a white stripe
brown with red stripe
i dont find a brown with a black stripe lol

 

Probably the black one then. Test for ground.
