Injector o-rings...

Can I use a generic oil o-ring as an o-ring for my fuel injectors? The guy at pep boys wasn't too sure, so I haven't bought them yet...

You need o-rings that can handle gasoline.

For the $20 per injector that the cleaning places charge, the will replace the o-rings and the filter that is supposed to be in the injector. At least Marren Motorsports did that on mine. Have them done professionally using the right equipment and parts!

Ya I don't see any reason to go cheap on engine parts. I mean exhaust I might be able to see, but not engine parts.

I had 2 sets done at Marren, and they did a great job.

i got mine from the local parts store. they dont list NA o-rings but they had the turbo ones listed. they are the same and work charmish. just make sure you pressurize the fuel system before you start the motor to check for leaks!

you have to pressurize the system by jumping out a block on the passenger side strut tower.. it shows in the manual..

generic OIL o-rings? Or did you specify gasoline? Where did you get them, and how much?
