injector help......

injector help......

ok so i did a replacment 13bt engine and the injectors are different. the old ones are purple and the ones on the running engine are red... i am going to use the same wire harness and i am wondering should i soder the red wires on and use the red injectors or just switch the purple injectors the the running engine and leave the wiring harness as is.

There is an impedance mismatch between the two injectors. Check the FAQ and find out if you are swapping high impedance into a low impedance car. If that is the case, the resistor block must be bypassed.

when you say bypassed, do you mean removed??

No, I mean bypassed.

i'm sorry, ok so what is i leave the purple injectors(high impedance) with the car and leave the wiring harness as is and swap them into the running engine. even though the running engine has red(low impedance) injectors now
