never shorted the single-pin connector- wanted the codes to come on while driving (that's how I discovered the o2 sensor was bad)...Am I missing something here?

 

Maybe the dashpot or TPS is out of adjustment?

 

checked the TPS just the other day-resistance checked good while isolated, voltage check good at ECU input...If I understand correctly, dashpot's just to keep your throttle plates from slammin' shut on a quick decel, how's that gonna cause a "bogging" problem (although it could be causing my backfires LOL)
