Car won't start-idles funny- won't idle-3800 rpm hesitation.

What makes you think you have a bad AFM?

the s5 na's had afm failures, early on. the updated afm's have a white dot on em.

symptom is a bog/hesitation/flat spot on tip in, or off idle

Car as iam driving usually after sitting in a drive thru or sumthin when i go to take off will actally run really lean. Tis in turn causes a surging problem like a rocking motion like the car is out of gas or sumthin. just curious of what it could be.
