Is it important to have...
eh i thought that there was a thermowax in the BAC that when warmed up closes the valve more. SO in other words, you should have a higher idle with an unheated BAC valve.

The answer to the original question is no. The BAC valve is nothing more than a convenient place to support the coolant lines from. You can remove the coolant hose connection from the BAC's body by undoing the two screws. This will not effect the BAC valve at all.
And as mentioned above, the BAC valve and thermowax are two different things that have no effect on each other.

I was under the impression that the BAC possibly opened up under cooler collant temperatures to aid in warm up. Although it sounds logical it maybe untrue, id just look it up, but it wont hurt anything, hell you can take the BAC off even........
If you still have the thermowax in place, removing the hose would be a bad idea (permanent high idle). If you don't, why is the hose still there? Nothing will be running through it.
At least on my car I did the full TB mod. However, I just took the coolant hose and looped it from the back of the waterpump to the block. Just one long hose. Time to block that off.
