This jpg from the eight nine manual. A pure black wire feeds from the battery. Its in a two socket connector just about eight inches from the ignition switch. JPG

So? What makes you think the ignition switch is kaput?

Personaly, I would not reinstall the bolts that break off.

I agree, new shear bolts must be used.

And the switch is very rare to have fail... I would be looking at a blown fuse or incorrectly installed aftermarket equipment before a bad switch.

in order to start the car the key must be wiggled and has to be cycled VERY VERY VERY HARD for the car to start...the battery has 12 volts , starter is good , wiring to the starter and battery are new ,new battery posts.....if u read my prior post i know you must repalce the shear bolts .....my question was will the new switch include the bolts or do you have to order them seperate ?

Ah, I'm just a hard head. I don't replace the shear bolts. Never have never will. I cut a groove in the heads and screw 'em in and out.

I think I've tried some suggestions on your prior posts and they didn't help...so maybe ICEMARK can figure it out.
