Idle problems

I have a 1986 Mazda RX7 N/A that I just bought and put a new transmission in. I sorry I didn't buy it I stole it.

When I first start it the idle will go up and down. After it warms up it will stall at stop signs or idle real low.

Anybody have any ideas.

Do you realize you probably stole it from a memeber here? Are you that stupid?

Go BUY your **** and get some help elsewhere.

i don't understand why you felt it necessary to inform us that you STOLE it. Do you think you are a badass or something? on top of that you post it in an rx forum which the owner may likely be a part of and then ask for help on the site? **** off and find help from someone who thinks its cool to steal.

Adjust the TPS (throttle position sensor).

BTW, I hope you meant you bought it for dirt cheap. There are a few guys in the law enforcement community here probably cross checking your I.P. address with your physical address (available from your internet provider with a phone warrant) with your info and DMV records.

ROFLMAO!!! Wow!!! First, thank you to everybody that gave input. Second, I did not steal it I got it for real cheap. The driveshaft came loose from the transmission and beat the heck out of the transmission. I had to replace the transmission, driveshaft, and clutch. Over all cost of the car and the work I did myself gave me a inexpensive toy.
