idle jumping

idle jumping

my idle us jumping up and down when my car is idleing, what can that be? TPS

which tps is better to get s4 or s5 or is there anything upgradable ?

s5 is a two piece......so the wiring is different from an s4.

Really.

I've done just about everything I can think of, cannot figure it out. I'm removing all my emmissions crap next and seeing if that does it

my tps works PERFECTLY and is adjusted EXACTLY to spec

Don't forget - the ECU need good grounds so it's weak little signals can make a circuit.

Bad grounds make it and you go crazy..

Its called a vaccum leak. My car used to do it only sometimes then I removed the rat's nest and went with pre-mix now my idle is at 700 rpms if you don't want to do that then replace all the vac lines with new ones. ALL

It's one piece. Just two sensors mounted on a single metal bracket.

check the resistance on your bac valve too...that can affect your idle.

mine...

mine has idled funny ever since I installed a BOV.

If I leave the heater on it idles pretty good though, still a little bouncy, but I don't know how bad the TPS is out...I know it is though.
