Idle @ 1500 ?!?!?!

Is my car 87-7 need to idle at 1500 rpm's with no air or heater running?

no, it should be around 750ish... check for a vacuum leak somewhere

or maybe your idle control is turned up? but most possibly a vacuum leak

Just make sure the little rubber tubbies are were they are supposed to be.

also check fro a stuck throttle. Somehting easilylooked over

yeah, the throttle cable might not be letting the throttle ease down all the way after you give it a rev.

check your thermo wax on the back of the throttle body... somtimes it can stick and cause a high idle.
