Those are great but it takes roughly 1k dollars to convert your intake to that and you need an EMS for it so thats another 1k-2k dollars. No N/a guy is going to have that kind of money we are all deadbeats and you know it. :p

well money isnt that big of deal. im lucky enuff to have a pretty well paying job and very few fiscal responsibilities. but the big question would be is it worth the money? (what kinda hp gain) because for that kinda money it'd be alot easier to go turbo.

Honestly I think thats more of a "supporting" mod then anything else, like for example bigger injectors and fuel management won't give you more HP (well maybe 1-2 lol) but you NEED it if you do mods that give you more HP (higher boost, bigger turbo, etc). Understand ? I suck at explaining ****! Looks cool though!

I am pretty sure I'm going to get some IDA TB's, probably not from this guy though. But if you do convert your N/A to this and you still want more power, all you have to do is buy a 4 port IDA manifold and a plenum for the IDA TB's and it could go on a turbo.
There is also quite a few race car ppl with IDA carb set-ups that are getting 200+hp to the wheels, and TB's would probably give you a few more hp.
You should post in the Rotary Performance or Race Car Tech secitons.

oh yeah LIM $175, injector runner $50. http://rotaryaviation.com/intake_manifold1.htm
that's all you need to convert to IDA throttle body. a whopping 225 dollars. And I see E6K's and LT8's go for 800, I was even offered 450 for an LT8 so no it would not be all that expensive to switch, unless you wanted a brand new ems system. Still the option is out there and has been explored.
