I want to thank you guys...

Fellas,

I dropped in here a month or so ago. I had a few relatively simple questions about an '88 RX-7 GXL. People were more than happy to answer them. I didn't get any "Search the archives" or "RTFM" or "STFU, noob" type responses. I really appreciate that. You guys seem to have a great site here with tons of valuable info.

Anyway, heres the story on the car. It belonged to my older sister. She could not get it to run and she was going to give it to charity. I told her I would take it, see if I could fix it, and give it to our 15 year-old nephew if I could get it to run. She and her husband towed it here to Jax, FL from Texas. I fixed it in about 8 minutes. Whoo hoo! That thing runs like a champ. Last weekend my nephew came up. We did a tune up on the car and my nephew and his dad drove it down to South FL. Hopefully it will serve him well for a long time.

So, thanks again, and keep the rubber side down. BTW, where in the hell is the engine block drain plug for the radiator fluid? We never did find it.

Look at the bolts for the engine mount on the drivers side, and it's IN there, there's a couple of studs where the mount is bolted, then there's a long head bolt, (17mm I think), and that's the one.
