i want to get some of your ideas on my engine
i have a 13bt that desperately needs rebuilt what i am wondering is if i should i get a new raman engine from mazda or should i get it rebuilt and i dont know of many places that rebuild around me i live in kansas and if any one knows of a place close to me let me know i would really like to get the mazda reman engine because it comes withe a 12 month 12.000 mile warrenty and i would feel safer running a new engine give me some ideas i dont know what to do

Depend what you are going to do to motor while it is apart, pricewise. I can tell you right now when I got my motor rebuild I spent about $1200 in gaskets and seals. Since you don't know anyone that does rotary in Kansas or assuming you don't know how to rebuild it would be safe to just get engine from Mazda. Good Luck with the 7!

Having seen what some mazda remans are like I wouldn't recommend it. There have been a few with different compression rotors and others with so much extra gasket sealant on the oil pan that it clogged the oil pickup tube.
i know what reman stands for its a fancy way to say rebuilt by mazda well i found a place called rotary resurrection it sounds cheap but dose he do good work
i can get one from mazda for +3384.00 -1000.00 for the core that to me dosent sound bad because 1 year warrenty and my car will be running

the only reason that 3mm might last longer is if you didn't have the motor tuned properly anyway.
But then you have a 30% increase in apex friction using 3mm apex seals, considerably longer break in period on a rebuilt motor, and countless other issues.
3mm seals are for people that blow up motors because they don't know how to tune a rotary engine.
so for the budgit rebuild go with rotary resurrection i think i will shot him a email
