I smell gas

I smell gas

When i drive me 1991 Rx7 i smell gas anyone got any suggestions to what may be the promblem ?

running rich...........check fuel lines, fuel filter, pulsation dampener and see if you have leaky injectors.............it could be a bunch of things. post details..............you won't get anywhere being vauge

search but since that button must be broked on your computer you should check your pd (pulsation dampener) on your fuel rail. They have a tendency to leak and cause engine fires so I would not run it until you find out exactly where it is comming from.

Windows open? Gasoline or Exhaust? I know you said "Gas"....
Windows close - Smell any?

no it defintely is coming from inside, near the stick alittle

Also, this Rx7 does not have turbo. I wanted to install a turbo but was wondering if i could do it without adding parts ( since im on a budget ) or do i have to buy a new engine.

I smelt gas in my car when I tried to mount my amp to the trunk, I drilled a little too far.
I fixed it by covering the hole with some gew.

Buying a new TII engine might cost you a little less.
I know I want to drop a TII engine, will cost about 2050$ installed and me able to drive it out.
