i need a S4 N/A engine harness

I need a new engine harness for my 87 Gxl and was wondering if anyone would be able to hook me up with a deal and or donate one.. i have limited funds since i am in school and have been layed off since oct.. thanks

i have one but its missing the wiper harness, which i bet you could just wire up yourself, its only 5 wires

pm me if ya want it, il let it go real cheap

Remember in 87 there are two different engine harnesses, make sure you get the right one...

As I recall the vin split was 550169 or so.

i dont undertand what you mean by "vin split"

all vins < are one harness and all > are the other? or am i missing something

can you tell from the ecu?

all VINs before that number use one harness, all VINs after that number use a different engine harness.

If he gets the wrong one, the injectors won't plug in and the resister pack won't be there and a couple of other issues.

He would need to check with the local dealer to make sure, as that number is just what I remembered, and may not be exactly correct.
