Question I need to jack up front end?

Where is it safest and the best place to position the jack?Thanks ppl.

It says in the owner manual. Front Crossmember I believe.

I have jacked up my car at least 50 times from the front crossmember.

you can also jack up from the THICK PART at the FRONT of the framerails.. right before they turn and go up the firewall.

do NOT EVER jack from the rocker panel, EVER.

You stock height guys have it too easy. My jack doesn't fit under the front unless I drive the car onto 2x4's first. I can't imagine how bad it would be if I put a front lip on it. Probably coudn't get in and out of my driveway.

Oh and those little "frame rails" under the car are NOT frame rails. If you must use jackstands on them to hold the car up, put a piece of wood between them first. Trust me, they will collapse (yes, I speak from experience).

what are the sides of the body frame? they mean the jack mount rails?
