i need help

i need help

Hi every one I have a 87 fc na and its my first rotary well I've had it for 6 months now with little issues but nothing major OK well now to the hard part the other day I was at work went to lunch and the car drove fine later when I got off the car wouldn't start. My brother in law came to give me a hand and we ended up push starting it and drove home fine now I haven't been able to start it since can any one clue me in on what could b causing this

If it wouldnt start but was able to be push started, it was most likely flooded. Sounds like a hot start problem, check compression first. If compression is good get the injectors cleaned.

Now I know you need a different compression tester then one for a piston motor is there an other way of checking compression

you can use a standard compression tester, just have take out the leading plugs and thread it on

If comp is good Check the plugs, coils, and wires. if good comp and ignition get injectors cleaned and tested

Also if you are using a comp tester that holds the peak if it has a pressure release button just hold it in while you test the comp. If it doesn't have the pressure release button you should be able to remove the check valve on the connector end with a valve stem puller
