sorry so many questions and problems, but i dont want to give up my car i love it to much. just want quick answers, i will be searching still for them but thought i would ask the peeps who like the rotary engine like me. 1987 mazda rx7 na rebuilt engine gxl.

fuse box problems. turn signals dont work, only when i wiggle fuses around. sometimes its not even the fuse that goes to the turn signals. and my cigar lighter goes out same way.

passenger door window doesnt go up on its own. would rather have manual. but how do i fix it. and where can i get parts. also i go below 12v when i press the button.

windshield wiper bracket under wipers the plasic ball thing broke and i am now holding it up with wax string. i also only have one speed. slow.

does anybody have a chassis that is in good condition.

how hard is it to do a complete standalone, (going to turbo it)what should i get, looking something cheap and effective, if not i will . im good with wiring, soldering. have no experience except u cant go to lean or to rich. and changing timing.

can u change from a s4 to a s5 cluster gauge.

i barely have to use my electric fan except this winter i got stuck and my car went almost to high about 3 or 4 time in a row. real fustrating day. how bad will that affect my car.

my heat isnt working right. it happened one mourning i checked my coolant and it was not frozen but had some ice in it. my lines to the heater core were like pressing on a balloon filled with sand. if u know what i mean. and thats where it was the worse. changed it all out after that.

car always smells like gas on the outside. and in the oil.

what ecu is compatible with an s4 engine if i stay na, and want it chiped.

 

is there anything NOT wrong wit the car?

 

my car does the same thing when i hit the button the battery voltage drops but mine actually goes up and down.
its either the switch that is bad, or it is the window motor its self, both easy fixes..

the reason for one speed is very common with the fc's you just need a new window whiper switch..

 

either loose fuses, or much more likely a bad flashr board in the CPU. Do they work using the hazard switch?

probably a bad ddrivers door power window switch. Open it up and clean the carbon off the switch contacts.

bad wiper switch, I can repair that for you, sell you a replacement switch or the parts to fix it yourself.

Try the EMS section of the board.

not without re-pinning the gauge cluster harness. But why would you want too?? The gauges are all smaller on the S5 cluster and it does not have everything that the S4 cluster does.

well that would screw your motor very bad... you should not have an electric fan if you can't wire in a thermostat switch for it.

Obvously you do not have the proper mix of coolant and water.

Probably a leaking Pulsation Dampener, DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR WITHOUT FIXING IT OR IT WILL BURN TO THE GROUND. As far as the oil smell in the car, that is probably from ripped or missing shifter boots.

nobody makes a "chip" that is worth anything for the non turbo, and a chip is not a ECU... so I am not sure what you are asking

 

yeah they do work with the hazard switch when the turn signals dont work atleast i think, what are the 2 posibilities.

how much for a replacement wiper switch. and one day my wipers were frozen son i pushed the down and the fast stopped working. what about the plastic piece under the firewall

i say no go for the s5 cluster gauge, dont know why i wanted it in the first place

the over heating, what will that effect. i have an idea. i have all summer to fix or replace anything on the motor. maybe a new seal kit. what should i get to help the engine.

the damper is ok, the oil smells like gas.

ok i wont chip it, but i heard they make some chipped ecus for the rx7. just has to be a certain model

do heater cores go out pretty easy in our cars.
