hi i have and rx7 s4 1988 turbo.

1st prob:it wont idle and is hard 2 start you have to pump the ac peddle to get it going

2nd prob: on the dash when i turn the igniton on the only lights that come up are the handbrake and the ratiotr light??

3rd prob: when i drive it to about 3grand it starts back fireing and runs like heaps of stuff have got into the carb but it doesnt have a carb its ingeted.(could the cause for this be dirty plugs or bad leads)??

4th prob: batt keeps going flat??

alot of things have gone wrong but i want to fix it because it is a good body and stuff plz respond asap.

check compression. get a compression tester, stick it in one of the spark plug holes, pull EGR fuse, Have a friend crank over the engine and check to see if the compression is the same every time the needle spikes, if it is not then.. Insert new engine, turn key and drive.. Sorry!
get a new battery

change plugs, perhaps fuel? Change fuses. check relays. new battery, or add fluid.
